Compensation costs from June 2022 wholesale market intervention

On 10 October, in response to inquiries about mechanisms that licensed electricity retailers in Victoria may use to recover costs incurred due to wholesale market interventions in June 2022, that are or will become payable to AEMO, we sent a letter to Victorian energy industry stakeholders.

Our view, in particular about clause 77 of the Energy Retail Code of Practice, was been communicated through the below letter.
